Best Engagement Photography Locations in Brixham & South Devon

Here are some of my favourite types of locations around Brixham, Paignton and Torquay to consider for your engagement photographs.

📍 Brixham Harbour

Brixham Harbour is a great choice if you want your photographs to have a classic South Devon feel. The colourful boats, waterfront and characterful surroundings provide plenty of variety without needing to travel far.

It's particularly nice for relaxed walking photographs and natural moments between poses.

Best for: Coastal, colourful and relaxed photographs.

🌊 Berry Head

For something more dramatic, Berry Head offers beautiful coastal views and plenty of open space.

The cliffs and sea create a striking background, particularly when the light is softer later in the day.

Best for: Dramatic coastline, sunsets and romantic portraits.

🌅 Brixham Breakwater

The Breakwater is another great option for couples who enjoy being outdoors. Walking along the waterfront gives you plenty of opportunities to capture photographs without everything feeling overly posed.

For a more traditional beach setting, the coastline around Paignton and Goodrington offers plenty of possibilities.
